One of my favourite special local café experiences is definitely the kaya croissant at Thong Kee that you will not find anywhere else. Pair the croissant with the 1+1 – a mixture of milk tea and coffee that brings out the flavours from both drinks – and you have the perfect breakfast or tea break combination!

This is one of the eating places frequented by locals that serves a variety of local food.

The famous 1+1, which is a mixture of coffee and tea in 1:1 ratio.

The only Chinese restaurant that serves croissant that has a local twist – with kaya and butter inside!

Besides that, you can find other local food stalls here like nasi lemak, wanton noodles, yong tau fu etc.
