MUME burst onto Taipei's dining scene in late 2014 serving innovative gastronomic dishes, and it is now one of Taipei’s trendiest restaurants. The kitchen is led by head chef and co-founder Ritchie Lin, along with his two partners, Kai Ward and Long Xiong. 

The restaurant’s chefs hail from all over the world, and their different backgrounds and cultures come together nicely to produce creative dishes. MUME places great emphasis on using the freshest local ingredients to showcase their unique European-style delicacies. 

MUME changes its menu seasonally, and there is always something new on the menu.

 

One of the most popular entrées at MUME is the beef short rib. 

 

The signature wagyu tartare goes well with the bread, and the presentation is just beautiful.
