COMO The Treasury is a restored heritage building turned into an incredible and luxurious hotel. Situated at Cathedral Square in the iconic State Buildings, it’s opulent, decadent and the perfect retreat to spoil yourself with a stay in.

When I first went, my breath was taken away by the high ceilings, original cornicing and balconies. They’ve maintained so much history in the design and that means each of the 48 guest rooms are unique in their layout and design.

With real key locks rather than electronic swipes, it has a quaint feel in an extravagant setting. Plus, there’s some of Perth’s finest restaurants on site, including David Thompson’s Long Chim, Petition Beer, Wine and Kitchen and Wildflower – a culinary dream to accompany the dreamiest of hotel rooms.

The arrival lounge is warm and welcoming.

I love the guest lounge, which is ideal for afternoon tea or relaxing by the fire.

The rooms are super spacious and the muted colour scheme is gorgeous.

The bathroom has natural light streaming in, and windows to spy on the outside world from the comfort of your bath.

The hotel rooms have couches, chairs and tables, so you can make yourself feel at home.
