Spend a few hours surrounded by interesting exhibitions and designs at the creative hub that is PMQ (Police Married Quarters).

PMQ is a historic site with a heritage overlay. It used to house members of the local police force who served at the nearby Central Police station.

Today, PMQ is a hub for 100+ local young creatives, a place to promote creative lifestyles and events. If you’re a supporter of locally produced goods with an environmental conscience, there will be lots of stores for you to check out here.

Tip: If you’re after local souvenirs, visit Goods of Desire (G.O.D). They are the quintessential Hong Kong lifestyle brand, selling home wares, fashion and premium gifts with a distinct Hong Kong flair.

The creative home of Hong Kong, PMQ actively supports young local creatives.

PMQ’s central courtyard is a popular location for festivals and community gatherings. The suspended events space (pictured) is also popular for weddings, product launches, and art exhibitions.

Take up a cooking class with the locals at ABC Kitchen.
