Sapporo is home to the best ramen in the world, and Horyu Ramen is one of the last remaining original shops that first began serving miso ramen – more than 50 years ago!

They were also the first ramen shop to offer halal-friendly dishes like this Hokkaido lamb ramen. They’ve built up a huge fan base from all over the world, and they are especially popular among the Muslim customers!

When we have visitors with special dietary requirements, we like to bring them here as the place even serves vegan and vegetarian specials.

Their thick miso is particularly popular with foreign tourists.

For those who want to try something different, their Hokkaido lamb ramen is worth the experience! Available regular or spicy

Horyu was the first ramen shop in Japan to offer a Muslim friendly menu. Unfortunately, it can only be purchased at their flagship store and not their franchises.
