Soul Bar & Bistro can be enjoyed with both mates and dates

If you feel like dressing up and heading somewhere with a little more glam in the evening, visit Soul Bar & Bistro. As one of the long-time institutions, this would have to be one of the Auckland Viaduct Harbour precinct’s longest-standing favourites.

In addition to being a great spot to eat lunch, watch the boats sail in and out of the docks and sip a few vinos in the sun, it also comes alive at night with a menu for dinner that will excite and please all tastes and never fails to impress. It’s a personal favourite.

I also love that you can stay on and enjoy a few more drinks at the bar area after if you're not one for venue-hopping through the night. That said, the area is home to a vast array of bars that will see you dancing the night away if variety is more your cup of tea.
