Lad Koh Viewpoint is the Zenith of all lookout points

Located just off the highway between Chaweng and Lamai beaches, Lad Koh Viewpoint (or Zenith Viewpoint) is one vantage point you don't have to scale any mountains just to reach. 

 

This is one place that's almost always on everyone's must-visit list because it has a pavilion with seats – which makes for an excellent spot to catch the sunrise or sunset. But if you come at other hours of the day, you can still enjoy the panoramic view of the Simsky Gulf and neighbouring islands. 

 

Although it is located on a rocky cliff by the sea, there is a path that allows you to walk down easily to the waterfront. This is also where villagers usually come to fish. 

 

Across the waters, you can also see the white sandy beaches of Chaweng Beach.
