There’s no better place to take in the beautiful panoramic views of the city than here. Located on the 65th floor of the Lotte Center, the observation deck is where you’ll get that million-dollar shot, at least where Hanoi is concerned.

The glass floors here are not for the faint of heart, so try at your own risk!

Here’s a hot tip – if you’d like to save a few dollars on the ticket price, come at night when tickets are a little cheaper than in the daytime.

The deck features a 360 degree view of the whole city. Zoom in on a piece of it with binoculars.

You don’t have to pan too far to realize that Hanoi is an intense mosaic of activities, cultures and colors!

Learn something more about Hanoi history on a timeline of the city that dates back to over 100 years ago.

The scariest place ever (at least for me). If you are afraid of heights, the glass floor is not for you. Here’s some advice, tread gently and look forward towards the sky with each step and with some courage you’d be able to do it like I did.

Getting to the highest point of the city is always the highlight of all my trips abroad. I love being able to see how the city was planned- maybe you do too! This being my hometown is especially close to heart.
