Go wild watching the dolphins at Mandurah Canals

Everyone loves dolphins, right? They’re bubbly, highly intelligent, friendly and glide through the water like magical creatures. Seeing them in real life is the ideal camera porn, but also something you’ll never forget.

I like the Mandurah Canals boat tour, which allows you to see them frolicking up close and personal in their own environment – and you might even see some other critters like the local blue crabs. The boats move smoothly, so you can stand at the edge and look out at the ocean water as the sparkling light kisses the top. 

It’s visually stunning even without the dolphins, but when they come to join you, it becomes some kind of magic. You might even get a selfie with them in the background!

Sunny skies are a common occurrence and ideal for dolphin-watching.

 

Watch out they don’t spray you with some water – they can be really cheeky!
