It’s in the culture of Berlin to dress up for the Carnival of Cultures

As you might know by now, Berlin is very diverse. And every year in spring, Berlin celebrates its different cultures. 

From Friday to Sunday, there are a range of free events going on in the district of Kreuzberg: theatre performances, music events, etc. as well as a food market featuring many of the nationalities living in the city – making it possible to travel the world through your stomach. 

 

On Sunday, people of all nationalities from Brazil to Vietnam wear their traditional clothes and dance to
traditional music in a big street parade – it’s a lot of fun!
