Getting across the Shibuya Crossing is both simple and complicated

You must see the world’s busiest crossroad when you come to Tokyo. Up to 3,000 people walk across at any given traffic light change, and the three best places to see the crossing are:

1. STARBUCKS at Tsutaya Book Store

2. Outside the Shibuya Station ticket gate

3. The highest floor of HIKARIE, which is best for photo-taking. I personally love the view here on rainy days. The crossing is filled with colourful umbrellas and it’s absolutely beautiful.

Actually, Shibuya is not just about the crossing. The streets are lovely to walk around as well. You can find many cheap restaurants, chain stores and cafes, so it is a good place to visit if you’re a little hungry or want to relax. There are also many karaoke bars here, so it’s a fun place to hang out at night with friends!
