Get a good dose of world culture at the Brooklyn Museum

The MET, MoMA, the Guggenheim, and a dozen more. New York, thank goodness, has no shortage of museums – they’re everywhere!

The Brooklyn Museum boasts a serious collection with wonderfully thoughtful and progressive exhibits. Aside from the weekends, pick any other day to visit and there’s a solid chance you’ll miss the crowds with plenty of room to move about on your own.

This is a bit of a common theme, but as there will be much walking in New York, you’ll really want to take a seat when you see one. The lobby is a wonderful place to grab a coffee and snack before or after hitting up the gift shop. And trust me, in the summer, the air-conditioning brings welcome relief.
