Find out how.

HCMC Museum is a grand, neoclassical structure built in 1885. It was once known as Gia Long Palace (and later the Revolutionary Museum).

What I love about the museum is its beautiful and impressive architecture. It is a great place for visitors to understand our city’s story through archaeological arte-facts, ceramics, old city maps and displays of the marriage traditions of Vietnamese ethnic tribes.

If you’re into military history, you can check out the American-built F-5E jet that a renegade pilot used to bomb the Presidential Palace in 1975.

HCMC Museum from the main gate on Ly Tu Trong Street.

Many couples have their wedding photoshoot in front of the French-inspired stairs.

On the terrace of Gia Long Palace, we can see detailed sculptures of the past in Vietnam.

Another side to Ly Tu Trong Museum. From here, I can see many lines and glamorous sculptures at the top of the building.
