Forget about tourist-filled Galeries Lafayette: Here is Paris’ most interesting department store. Owned by luxury conglomerate LVMH, Le Bon Marché offers a refined selection of everything a modern woman or man needs – from a curated clothing selection to an impressive bookshop.

Don’t forget to stop by the home section that offers a gorgeous selection of designer furniture that could all sit in stylish movies. And even though the selection isn’t exactly affordable, I think the iconic store still deserves a tour. Look out for this magnificent building’s striking Art Deco glass roofs, as well as iconic graphic escalators.

Foodies will have to stop by La Grande Epicerie, Le Bon Marché’s food section – undeniably Paris’ most elegant supermarket. The chic space hosts a mind-blowing selection of French delicacies, as well as a small restaurant that specialises in truffles inside the supermarket, where you can sit at the counter and watch Parisians shop.

Stiletto-shopping doesn’t get more elegant than this.
