Italian food is one of the most popular food in Paris right now – there are are countless Italian restaurants in the city that serve absolutely delicious food.
What makes Marcello different is its location: the restaurant and its patio are nestled under the street level, which makes it hard to find at first but also offers a gorgeous setting. The tables are set up in a green and cosy courtyard by the tinkling noises of the adjacent fountains.
I usually go there to grab an indulgent Italian breakfast, or just to enjoy the company of the friendly waiters. The good news is it serves delicious meals all day, every day – something that is not exactly common in France.
