Iconic views of the Singapore skyline (without staying at Marina Bay Sands)

Marina Bay Sands isn’t the only place to get stunning views of the Singapore skyline. In fact, there are much cheaper — and less packed — viewpoints which remain undiscovered by visitors. 

Of the many coffeehouses in Singapore, one of my favourites is the Starbucks at the Fullerton Waterboat House. I’ve often enjoyed a cup of iced coffee while enjoying amazing views of the skyline, all in air-conditioned comfort!

At night, 1-Altitude is great for admiring the illuminated Marina Bay Sands. With a cafe, bar, and gallery split over three levels, you’ll be spoilt for choice at 1-Altitude. My favourite area, of course, is the rooftop bar, with its 360° views of the cityscape.
