Night markets are a huge aspect of Taiwanese culture and the ones in Taipei do not disappoint.

Most are open nightly and offer a variety of fresh Taiwanese snacks, clothing, fun accessories, or even carnival games. It is truly a Taiwanese experience that shouldn’t be missed.

Located in Xinyi district, Tonghua Night Market is one of the most iconic night markets in Taipei. And despite its proximity to Taipei 101, it’s rarely visited by the tourists, so it feels more local.
