Located right in the hustle and bustle of city is the ultra-modern Art Centre, which displays contemporary art and organises programmes for art, music, theatre, film, design, and cultural education. It is a place where artists exhibit their works for the community that showcase both past and present Thai culture.

I like this space because the peaceful contemplative silence within juxtaposes against the buzz of the commercial activities that lie just beyond the compound.

Inside the lobby of the Bangkok Art & Culture Centre, which is situated next to the skywalk between the Siam and National Stadium BTS stations. Don’t forget to look up at the mural above the gift shop entrance, which pays homage to the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who was the world’s longest-reigning monarch before his death.
