Fisherman's Village is considered a historical part of Bophut in Koh Samui, with rustic wooden shophouses sandwiched between concrete buildings. The blend of old and new adds to the charm of the place and brings out the traditional yet modern vibe of Koh Samui.

Every Friday, the entire area is transformed into the FIsherman's Vlilage Walking Street Market, where shoppers come from all over the island to find a good bargain or just soak in the lively atmosphere.

If you look towards the horizon, you'll see that the road leads to the sea. Here, you'll find boutique stores, restaurants and small hotels lining both sides of the narrow Beach Road, with new things and cuisines to explore every few steps.

I was drawn to this art gallery/paint shop because of the gorgeous paintings displayed outside. If a painting catches your eye, the shop will even deliver it to your accommodation, saving you the trouble of lugging it around while you shop!
