Located on one of the busiest streets of Ho Chi Minh City, Thien Hau Temple is a place where locals will go to pray for good fortune.

Home to a huge range of pottery with exquisite detailing, as well as intricate wooden carvings, it is a great place to explore, even for non-religious visitors.

Occasionally I make a trip here to pray for good luck and health, not just for myself, but my family as well. I always feel a sense of peacefulness after leaving this place.

Many tourists visit this area in the morning, so if you want to get a picture of yourself praying without too many people around, it’s best to come after 12pm.
