"Forget childhood food fights. The tiny Spanish town of Haro offers a far boozier, adult alternative." - TheManual.com
Haro Wine Festival, also known as 'La Batalla del Vino' in Spanish, means wine battle. The annual festival dated far back into 1965 takes place on the outskits of Haro, a small wine-producing town. If you're keen to join, be sure to come dressed in white shirts and a red scarf. The battle begins early in the morning and lasts for a couple of hours into the afternoon before everyone gathers for a time of celebration with tons of food and drinks. So if you're thinking of heading to Spain this summer, don't miss out on the fun this June!
