You cannot come to Berlin and not learn about German history. The Sachsenhausen concentration camp is a must-see to not forget the horrible history of the Third Reich.
The Sachsenhausen memorial centre was one of the biggest concentration camps in Germany where more than 200,000 people have been kept against their will.
You can walk around the camp and learn about the living condition at the camp.
What is also interesting about Sachsenhausen, is that unless many other camps, the camp was also used after the Second World War by the Soviet secret service.
