A visit to Cat Cafe MoCHA is just what you need to perk you up

One of the most popular spots is the Cat Cafe!!

It is said that the concept of cat cafes, which are now a global phenomenon, originated in Taiwan in 1998. They are now ubiquitous across Japan and in particular Tokyo. My personal favourite is the Cat Cafe called MoCHA in Harajuku.

The cafe itself is really clean and it feels like time passes more slowly once you enter its doors. It’s the perfect place to spend an afternoon relaxing away from the bustle of the city.

You can have drinks here too. The price without a drink is ¥200/10mins, with a drink is ¥350. (The average price people spend is ¥1200 for an hour.)
