Seoul’s newest must-visit place is Seoul Sky, the world’s third-highest observatory. It is located on the top floors of the Lotte World Tower, Korea’s tallest and the fifth tallest building in the world.
It was opened in April 2017 and offers a beautiful panoramic view of Seoul. I particularly love the lift that transforms into an immersive environment displaying the birth and development of Korea.
There’s also a section of glass tiles where you can look straight down to the ground – an Instagram-worthy moment for the brave-hearted. Besides the panoramic view, there is also a dessert cafe where you can enjoy small snacks and tea on the top floor of Seoul Sky.
Tips: I recommend visiting around 6pm, so you can enjoy both the day and night view of Seoul. Alternatively, if you want to have a good meal with an equally beautiful panoramic view of Seoul, head to STAY, a restaurant on the 81st floor of SIGNIEL Seoul!
