Xalet de Montjuïc is the perfect place for a romantic night with your partner, and a must if you are a gourmet lover or just want to pamper yourself with breathtaking views and fine dining.
The first time I entered this restaurant, I fell in love with every single detail that makes the environment charming. Sitting beneath a sky full of stars makes you feel privileged. I think the 360º view from their terrace is the best you can find in Barcelona. Here, you can see all the main monuments of the city at a glance.
Their Mediterranean cuisine is simply exquisite, excellently executed with the magic touch of Michelin-starred chef, Jordi Angli. The service is really friendly and caring, and you will easily feel at home here.
They are open for lunch and dinner, but if you are going for dinner I recommend you to arrive early to enjoy the last rays of light before the sun sets. As night falls, you can continue to be delighted by the charm of the night with candle lights.
Another thing worth mentioning is that they offer free valet parking. 100% recommended. I can’t wait to come back here.
The entrance of Xalet de Montjuïc is cozy and charming. Their delicious traditional Catalan dishes always make me feel like I’m at someone’s home in the countryside, having a simple and comforting home-cooked meal.
The views are unbeatable – you can see the main monuments like the Sacred Family, the Cathedral, Montjuïc Castle, etc.
The seasonal vegetable paella is the most delicious of all the paellas. In my opinion, this is one of the few places you can really enjoy the genuine taste of a good paella.
Marinated veal over mashed potato with a butter and wine sauce – so juicy and the texture is extremely tender.
Enjoying Iberian croquettes alongside a spectacular view of the city.
Indulge your senses with a sweet and light rum sponge cake. The most delicious dessert to end your evening.
