Monday nights in Perth have historically been the quietest of the week, but now there’s the market at Inglewood on Beaufort to enjoy.

While the main focus is food, there’s also jewellery stands, candles, artwork and more. This market is off the beaten path for most tourists, but it’s only ten minutes from the city so it’s super convenient to get to.

Beaufort Street is one of Perth’s busiest, so it’s fun to see it transformed into a hive of activity. There are lots of people on foot strolling lazily between stalls and trucks. Plus, if you’re an animal lover like I am, you’ll enjoy seeing the different dogs (all on leashes) soaking in the atmosphere with their owners.

The market stall owners work hard, but they’re always super friendly.

It’s a great way to see the local talent we have on offer.

Some of the food vans are super cute and begging to be snapped!

There are lots of souvenirs you can buy to take home with you.

In summer, you even get a couple hours of daylight before the hot, balmy night arrives.
