Sweet dreams are made of boutique hotels like Alex Hotel

The Alex Hotel is a relatively new boutique accommodation option. Nestled on Northbridge’s doorstep, it boasts 74 rooms that have been decked out both functionally and playfully. 

There’s a rooftop terrace that has gorgeous views of the city, and lots of common spaces to lounge around in if you’d prefer to step out of your room. From dining tables to intimate couches, I guarantee you’ll find the ideal nook to curl up in and read a book, or conduct a meeting. 

This is one of my most loved hotels to frequent – and I particularly like that they have bicycles available for guests, so you can commute out and about and see more of what our beautiful city has to offer. 

The dining option on site is Shadow Wine Bar. It’s dimly lit, has a phenomenal wine list and a crab spaghettini dish that I will always remember as breathtaking. 

The rooms have queen or king-sized beds.

 

The bathrooms are equipped with Sodashi products, a Western Australian company.
