If life’s a beach, we hope it looks like Cottesloe Beach

Okay, okay, it’s a little predictable, but I truly believe Perth’s beaches could rival those anywhere else in the world. The entire west coast of our state is bottom to top beaches and there’s white sand, clear blue waters and the ideal weather to accompany your visit. Whether it’s at dawn, dusk or in between, you’re guaranteed a gorgeous view and the perfect Instagram snap to remember it by forever.

Cottesloe Beach is the cream of the crop in my opinion, with its busy café and bar strip, and expansive nature strip. Some afternoons, you’ll see a cotton candy sky; on other days, it will be the perfect blend of blue and orange so vivid it almost seems unreal. There’s always plenty of people to watch, and the ideal afternoon includes grabbing a gelato or fish and chips to while away the hours. 

Sunsets at the beach are some kind of magic.

 

Shoes off and sand between your toes is mandatory in my books.
