Over the years, Myeongdong and Hongdae have transformed into must-go places for tourists to get their Korean-made essentials. But I think Garosugil is the hip alternative place to shop.

Unlike the Garosugil that it used to be, the main road now boasts flagship-sized shops of all types, ranging from notable Korean beauty brands to designer boutiques. The alleyways on each side of Garosu Street are also home to hip cafés and shops now.
