Located in Hannamdong, the Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art exhibits traditional and modern artworks by both local and internationally renowned artists. 

The building was designed by renowned architects Mario Botta, Jean Nouvel and Rem Koolhaas. It was one of the places the first ladies visited during the G20 Summit in 2010. You may also have seen the museum in Instagram posts of celebrities who have visited Seoul. 

Besides the great artworks on display, the museum offers a nice selection of gifts that are souvenir-worthy without being too touristy. There is also a nice selection of bars and cafés around Hannamdong that you can consider visiting after your trip to the museum!
