Hannam-dong, another cultural hotspot, boasts hipster cafes and bars, well-curated small boutiques, and cool concept stores. Café culture is a huge thing in Korea, and this place has everything from hipster joints to pretty and girly cafés.

Located near the Hangangjin Station, you should aim for the alleyways on both side of the main street to find Seoul’s coolest bars and cafes, as well as small designer boutiques and lifestyle stores.

Noteworthy places to check out in Hannam-dong are: Studio Concrete, a creative studio/café that has a gallery space for young, upcoming artists to exhibit their works; One in a Million, a millennial pink-themed cafe with a very Instagram-mable interior space; and Anthracite Coffee Roasters, a hipster café with a great selection of well-roasted coffee.

In the same building, you will also find a bookstore and a well-curated stationery and lifestyle store that are also worth checking out. And if you exit from the ground level of the building (near the Freitag store), you will see another street filled with small hipster designer boutiques and lifestyle stores.

A very chillax atmosphere at the Hyundai Card Music Library, where people can listen to music straight from their favourite LP albums.
