Tua is a restaurant that serves traditional Taiwanese cuisine with a modern twist. The concept behind Tua – which means having a lunch/dinner date with friends in Taiwanese – is to elevate Taiwanese dishes to a more stylish level. Highly recommended if you want to try some contemporary Taiwanese food.

I insist you check out the bathroom at Tua, because there is a giant fish tank with two fish right next to the toilet!!

Mapo tofu and the seasonal fish are two must-orders. Make sure you get a bowl of white rice to go along with these dishes.

Another must-order is this seafood paella. However, it is not your typical Spanish seafood paella – it is mixed with salmon and mullet roe, which gives it a more Asian flavour.

The sign that is hung outside the restaurant.
