Rok is one of our favourite restaurants – it’s located in the heart of Reykjavík. They describe themselves as a fine casual restaurant, which is exactly what they are. Their amazing tapas-style dishes and beautiful design makes this a must-visit.

What makes them so special is that they serve amazing food in a friendly and relaxed environment. It's quite small but very well-arranged, so you are very comfortable wher-ever you are seated. The prices are also very reasonable for what you get, and right across the street you’ll find the famous Hallgrímskirkja. 

They have really good vegetarian and vegan options, and also offer a champagne happy hour between 4pm and 7pm, which is a fun twist to the typical happy hour.
