Hotel Raphael is one of my favourite hotels in Rome as it is not just a hotel but a gallery as well. It is a hotel for anyone who loves arts. Inside the marvellous structure that is located just a few steps from Piazza Navona, many important pieces of art from all over the world are on display. Artworks include a unique collection of Picasso ceramics and paintings by Mirò, Morandi and De Chirico, and two entire floors of the hotel have been designed by the American architect Richard Meier.
On the top floor you can access the terrace with a unique view of Rome and the exclusive restaurant – Mater Terrae.
The Hotel Raphael is the ideal place for a romantic trip, where both the art and hospitality create a perfect balance and a world away from the bustle of the city during your visit to Rome.
One of the peculiarities of this hotel is its facade completely covered with beautiful plants.
The ivy of the façade changes colours every season.
