Powerhouse on 8th is part of Powerhouse Arena (conveniently located in DUMBO near the Brooklyn Bridge Park), which are both far more interesting than some of the well-curated book stores in the area.

They serve as event spaces for authors and other creatives to come to speak about their work. And because it’s not your average bookstore, you can never tell what you’ll find in either shop, but I promise it will be interesting and well thought out.
