Tucked away in Fisherman's Village, Bar Baguette offers a wide variety of freshly baked goods. And of course, you must have coffee with the baked goods, right? Just so happens they serve what some say is the best coffee in Koh Samui here, with beans from Sasatorn Specialty Coffee.

But aside from that, this place offers a great environment that sees both locals and foreigners flocking here to unwind with a good selection of music and a good brew (coffee or beer).

The cafe's simple decor, which features warm yellow and green tones, reflects the warm and inviting atmosphere that the owners want the place to have.

Take your pick from a wide variety of sweet and savoury breads, pastries and cakes, all made in-house by the bakery team!

This Dirty Piccolo was recommended to me by the staff – it is essentially an espresso poured over smooth cold milk. Although it looked a little cloudy, the strong-tasting first sip becomes enjoyably lighter, offering a variety of delicious flavors in one glass.

I also got a matcha croissant to go with the coffee. Their croissants are baked fresh every day and available in both plain and sweet varieties – with matcha glaze sprinkle with crushed almond bits or chocolate-coated versions to choose from.
