Peacock Island is a must-see. The island is a UNESCO World Heritage Site nestled on the Havel River, and you can head there for a relaxing day trip from the city centre.
As the name suggests, you can see peacocks walking freely around the park. The park is also home to a very cute castle that used to be the summer home of King Frederick William II.
I love to go to Peacock Island for a picnic with my friends in spring or summer with friends – it’s so relaxing!
