The buses have left to make way for good food at Hlemmur Food Hall

Hlemmur Food Hall used to be the main bus station for the local bus system in Iceland, but they recently renovated it and changed it to a food hall with some of Reykjavík’s best restaurants.

If you are hungry and looking for a casual place to go to, Hlemmur Food Hall is ideal. We like coming here for the variety of restaurants to choose from, as well as the chill vibe that the food hall has going on. 

Flatey is in our opinion the best pizza in Reykjavík and is a popular pick, along with Kröst, which has awesome vegan burgers! 

There are 10 different vendors in Hlemmur Food Hall, so everybody should be able to find something to their liking.

 

They offer everything from casual tacos to fine dining, so it should be easy for everyone to find something to their liking.

 

Fueco is a popular Mexican restaurant.

 

Flatey is one of Reykjavík’s best pizza places, in our opinion.
