Opened in 2014, La Fondation Vuitton is a curious object: a museum opened by a luxury conglomerate (LVMH), in the middle of a big park on the outskirts of Paris.

While the museum’s collections are interesting, what I really like is the building itself: half spaceship, half boat; with its futuristic glass sails it packs as much beauty on the inside as on the outside.

I always end up spending more time than I intend to here, strolling around the building after seeing an exhibition – it makes for great Instagram pictures.

During spring or summertime, it can also be fun to explore the nearby Jardin D’Acclimatation, a small, retro amusement park with kids running around and even a Chinese teahouse!

The architectural masterpiece imagined by Frank Gehry.

The opulent LV logo dressing up the façade.

The airy corridors inside the foundation.

With numerous mirrors and water feature around, even the hallway of the foundation is highly Instagrammable.
