Souvla is one of my go-to restaurants for a healthy, yet delicious meal. The Greek-inspired menu is simple with the choice of a salad or a sandwich and your pick of protein. I love the chicken salad with a side of Greek fries (featured on several “best fry” lists).

Souvla cooks their meat rotisserie-style, and the juicy potatoes are roasted in the rotisserie drippings – the reason why it’s one of my favourite potato dishes ever. Be sure to save room for dessert because Souvla’s house-made frozen Greek yoghurt with baklava and honey syrup is a must.

Souvla is casual, consistently delicious, and never compromises on quality, making it one of my favourite restaurants in San Francisco.
