If you are looking for a romantic place, Rome will not disappoint you. Hidden on the Aventine Hill, there is a garden that can make anyone fall in love with Rome. Why? Because you can admire the entire beauty of Rome from above, surrounded by the scent of orange blossoms!

‘The Orange Garden’ (or Parco Savello) is a panoramic garden built in 1932 by the architect Raffaele De Vico. To get to the panoramic terrace, you will pass many orange trees that give the park its unique personality. From its terrace, you can admire one of the most beautiful views of Rome and it’s fun to recognise all the monuments and churches you’ve visited from above.

My advice is to go there at sunset or in the late afternoon, and don't forget your tripod because from this point, you will be able to take some really stunning photos!

You can see portion of Piazza Navona with the ‘Fountain of the Four Rivers’ created by Gian Lorenzo Bernini from the terrace.

Vittoriano complex as seen from the terrace of the Orange Garden.

The terrace is also a great place for tourist/locals to hang out and enjoy the view.
