Western Australian wines are exported to countries all over the world, and Margaret River has a formidable reputation as an impressive wine region. It’s only a few hours away from Perth, and you can get there by car, plane or public transport.
The wineries there go from strength to strength – there are household names that attract tourists and locals alike, but there are also excellent boutique offerings too.
I think Margaret River wine country is definitely worth checking out, not just because it’s a great experience in itself (with delicious taste tests and a chance to pick up some bottles), but because it’s also stunning – leafy, lush and abundant. Whether you’re there for the day or for a getaway, it’s calling your name (and mine)!
